Chicago Bulls Eliminated from Postseason Contention

The Miami Heat are headed back to the playoffs after defeating the Chicago Bulls 112-91 in the NBA Play-In Tournament finale on Tuesday night.

Despite playing without star forward Jimmy Butler, the Heat dominated the Bulls from start to finish, leading by as many as 22 points in the second half.

Tyler Herro led the way for Miami with 22 points, while Kyle Lowry added 20 points and 6 assists. Bam Adebayo also had a solid performance with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

The Bulls were led by DeMar DeRozan, who scored 29 points. Zach LaVine added 20 points, but it wasn't enough to prevent Chicago from being eliminated from postseason contention.

The Heat will now face the Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs, which begins on Saturday.
